"Pasko sa FilCom"

The 2nd "Pasko sa FilCom" (Christmas at FilCom) event was a big hit. It was held Sunday, December 14, 2008 which featured variety of events as it is traditionally celebrated Christmas in the Philippines.
There were food booths and cooking demonstrations of such Filipino delicacies like "linubian," "puto bumbong," "bibingka," and others. There were "parol" (Christmas lantern) making demonstration, children's games such as "pabitin" and "palayok"(breaking the pot). There were Christmas displays and videos and also "parol"(lantern) and Christmas tree making contests.
An entertainment program featured the Royal Hawaiian Band, Filipino folk dances, the Silangan Singers, and the FilCom Himig at Indak. A "Panunuluyan" (Search for an Inn) was performed, followed by a mass and musical entertainment by the "kulintang" group and a live band. |
