We are excited to inform you that the 20th Annual Filipino Fiesta, the premier event in the Filipino Community in Hawaii, will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012. The theme is “Pagdiriwang at Pasasalamat – Celebration and Thanks” and we would like you to be a part of the largest Filipino cultural event. The 20th Annual Filipino Fiesta will continue to feature two colorful events: the Parade in early morning from Fort DeRussy to Kapiolani Park, followed by the Fiesta from mid-morning to late afternoon at the Kapiolani Park.
The Parade will have a cultural theme and will have floats depicting the cultures of the various regions in the Philippines. It will include street dancers, marching bands, and cultural, community, professional, civic, and student marching groups. Thousands of people participate in this parade, either as marchers or as spectators lining the streets of Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki.
In the past years, the Fiesta at Kapiolani Park has attracted tens of thousands of the local and tourist populations. The Fiesta showcases various aspects of Filipino culture - it has a regional cultural village, a Keiki village, food booths, and a day-long entertainment program featuring local and Philippine-based artists. Its business and sponsor booths allow local entrepreneurs to showcase their products to the thousands of people who attend the festival.

The magnitude of this event, the significant exposure it creates, and the various opportunities it provides for public contact, will certainly benefit your respective organizations.
